Eye Glasses for Kids

As a pediatric ophthalmologist in Orange County, Dr. Fazilat often prescribes eye glasses for kids. To make things more convenient for our patients and their parents, we have glasses available right in the office for selection.

How can eye glasses help my child?

There are a number of reasons why Dr. Fazilat might recommend that your child wear eye glasses. Vision develops rapidly during early childhood, so wearing glasses can be even more important for your child than it might be for you.

Most parents are aware of the benefits of wearing glasses if your child is having trouble seeing. In fact, glasses can help your child to do better in school once they are able to see the front of the classroom and take part comfortably without straining. In addition to improving your child’s vision, glasses can also help in the following ways:
