As a kids ophthalmologist in Orange County, Dr. Golareh Fazilat works to both diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders in patients ranging from birth to young adults. Her services include giving children their first eye exam, performing back to school exams and routine exams, providing prescriptions for vision issues, and even conducting major delicate procedures to treat issues. About Dr. Golareh Fazilat

Prior to becoming a kids ophthalmologist in Orange County, Dr. Fazilat completed her ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She then completed her fellowship at USC/Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in pediatric ophthalmology, where she worked alongside a selective group of residents.

Board certified in her field, Dr. Fazilat is a member of many societies, including the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Vision Center of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and at the University of Southern California-Keck School of Medicine. She has spent many years teaching both surgical and clinical skills to residents and fellows in pediatric ophthalmology.

Dr. Fazilat spreads her knowledge and experience by presenting at international conferences and providing volunteer care to patients in developing countries.
